Thank you for purchasing this Optika Microscopes Product. Should you need to use the warranty service on this product, please refer to the warranty terms and conditions, as stipulated below.
Standard Warranty Conditions:
Universal Laboratory Supplies warrant this product to be in good working order during the warranty period. In the event that the product is found to be defective within the warranty period, the product's repair service will be provided free of charge at the authorised service centre. Warranty service free of charge may be obtained only against presentation of this warranty certificate together with the original invoice/cash ticket issued to the customer by Universal Laboratory Supplies complete with all the information and of the series number where applicable. Universal Laboratory Supplies reserves the right to refuse warranty service if this information is not complete or has been removed or changed by the customer after the original purchase of the product.
Warranty Period
This warranty is valid for five years from the date of purchase by the customer, as evidenced by the above mentioned documents.
Warranty Activation
Warranty Service is available in the authorised service centre during the warranty period. For warranty activation, the product must be shipped in its original packaging. Any costs of transportation of the product to and from the service centre will bear on the customer.
Limitations and exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Periodic check-ups, maintenance and repair of replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear.
- Defects caused by modifications carried out without Optika Microscopes / Universal Laboratory Supplies approval.
- Cost incurred by Universal Laboratory Supplies in making any adaptions or modifications of a product necessary for country-specific technical or safety standards or specifications, or any others cost to adjust the product as a result of any specifications which have changed since the delivery of the product.
- Damage resulting from the fact that a product is not conforming to country specific standards or specifications in another country other than the country of purchase.
Warranty service is not provided for damage caused by:
- Improper use, excessive or incorrect use, incorrect handling or incorrect operation of the product; in particular incorrect storage, dropping or excessive shocks.
- Repairs, modifications or cleaning carried out not authorised by Universal Laboratory Supplies.
- Use of spare parts which are not compatible with the product. Compatibility is ensured only with the original spare from Optika Microscope or recommended by Universal Laboratory Supplies.
- Connecting the product to equipment not approved for connection by Optika Microscopes.
- Inadequate packaging of the product when returning it to the authorised service centre or office.
- Accidents, damage or any cause beyond the control of Universal Laboratory Supplies, including natural disasters.
